Planning Ahead: Next week is Read Across America Week! We have lots of fun and engaging activities planned for our students as we celebrate Literacy Week. To help us celebrate, we'll have a dress up day each day. Check out the plans for each day and start planning your attire!

This is a reminder that the last day to order a yearbook is Friday, February 6th. Remember, you can order the yearbooks online too. The cost is $37.

This is just a reminder that tickets for the Sweetheart Dance are still available. The dance is next Friday, Feb 6 from 5-7pm. There will be a live DJ, refreshments, photo opportunity, prize raffles, and fun items for sale. Money and forms can be sent in to your child’s teacher or tickets can be purchased at the front office. We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor and thank you for supporting our Kindergarten team!

As part of the district's efforts to identify and provide services for students who qualify for McKinney-Vento/Homeless Services, we are sending a second wave of Student Housing Questionnaire forms. Your student should bring home a green residency form this week. Only one form per family needs to be completed. We would like to have all forms returned by February 6th.

The Florida Department of Education is seeking feedback from families with students served through Exceptional Student Education. The survey takes just a few minutes to complete but the parent feedback is valuable!

The Milton Police Department received an anonymous call regarding a possible threat to Hobbs Middle School.
Out of an abundance of caution, our school is currently in a secure facility while law enforcement investigates. All students and staff are safe, and there is no immediate danger at this time.
We are working closely with law enforcement and will provide updates as more information becomes available. Law enforcement is on site at Hobbs Middle School.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as safety remains our top priority. Thank you for your continued support.

This is a reminder of our upcoming Holiday Dance. There are still tickets available! See the flyer for details.

It's not too late to get the early bird yearbook price of $35.00 with free name personalization. To get your book personalized, you must order online and this must be done no later than December 18th. After December 18th, personalization will not be available and yearbook price will increase to $37.00. So, order your student's memories soon!

Next week, we will be celebrating the holidays with four days of Winter Holiday Spirit Days. We invite our students to join in on our dress up spirit days.

We would like to thank a few local artist for sharing their talents with our Jr. Panthers . Over the past few months, these ladies have added beautiful murals to our campus.
Madison Ellis, a former Jr. Panther, and her friend Emily Ward designed and painted a mural in our our music room. Colbie Leach, an art student at Pace High School designed and painted a mural for our PE pavilion.

Our Holiday Dance is coming up soon! Tickets go on sale tomorrow. Flyers went home with students before the break with more information on how to purchase tickets. Due to safety regulations, we must limit the sale of tickets to 375 people. They are sold on a first-come, first-sold basis.
